Intro to 3D Printing

3D printing has become both easier and more affordable with the growth of new machines and software that makes the experience fun and simple.

This two-hour class will cover the basic steps needed to take your digital model and make it come to life off the screen. This will include:

• Finding your source files and what types can be used
• Setting up your files in a slicer and what settings to use
• Preparing the printer for the printing process
• Steps to take to troubleshoot problems and innovate new ideas

To ensure the maintenance of our machines, either this class or a proficiency test is mandatory to use the onsite printers.

Class is open to ages 10 and up, though minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The adult must purchase an additional ticket to attend the class.

Guests are asked to be on time for events.
